Established in 1983, Marren and Newman Architects, have completed numerous successful
projects including renovations, historic preservation and new construction.  The OMO Norma
Kamali retail store at 11 West 56th Street and the Lobby and Facades of the Architects and
Designers Building (150 East 58th Street) are two of our widely recognized works here in the City.
Our design work has included commercial, residential, medical, recreational, institutional and
industrial spaces and has ranged in scale from a small performing arts stage at the IBM Atrium in
New York, included detailed residential apartments, multi-family loft buildings, unique private
residences, and included large scale site planning for housing. Our experience has also included
theatre renovations in New York, Master Planning and school design in Baltimore, a new Winery
Building in the Hamptons and a new Medical and Sports Rehabilitation Facility in Nassau County,
New York. Affirmed by our numerous design awards, recognition resulting from published work,
and clients with whom we have established long-term relationships, our goal remains to provide
the highest level of responsible and detailed professional services for each of our Projects.

We are a multi-disciplinary office with wide-ranging skills, interests and professional experience.
Our design process is open and inclusive; we encourage a participatory role with our clients.
In both the private and public sector, our clients have been leaders in their respective fields from
diverse backgrounds including the real estate industry, fashion and design, the graphic arts
community, the performing arts, education, law and medicine.  We are certified by both the
State and City of New York as a Minority (Women's) Owned Business and certified by various
government agencies including the City of New York Department of Design and Construction
and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Our work is distinguished by the ability to create appropriate and unique spaces through careful
consideration of all aspects of the Project \from design concept, budget and schedule analysis,
through the preparation of detailed construction documents and all stages of construction
administration.
